Go to the University of Michigan website to watch a news video of that night on October 14, 1960 when John F. Kennedy came to Ann Arbor and first announced the idea of the U.S. Peace Corps.

SEMIRPCV is able to make small grants which are typically about $250 to projects initiated by Peace Corps Volunteers from Michigan in the field or to charitable organizations with connections to SEMI RPCV. Download our Grant Guidelines and Grant Application Form for information.

Southeast Michigan Returned Peace Corps is a member of National Peace Corps Association and encourages all our group members to join NPCA. You can designate SeMiRPCV as your local group at the same time you join the national organization.
